The sales have nearly reached 305.000 in the first week since its release and ranked first in the Billboard of the most credibility in America, which is called the biggest comeback of the year' in American song circles. Whitney Houston did not follow the current trend blindly in her new album, rather she presented a satisfactory work to her fans with her pragmatic style of being plain and simple. Even though the voice isn't as glory and high-pitched as before due to the drug, hoarse voice is full of vicissitudes of the texture and even more appealing. While proving herself again with her singing ability, Whitney Houston also faces the media actively and has received all kinds of interviews. She had a recent exclusive interview with the famous talk show host named Oprah Winfrey and frankly confessed she had been addicted to drugs before.
After singing I Will Always Love You for the film Bodyguard, Whitney gained great fame and lost her original calm gradually and became impetuous. Having been married with her ex-husband Bauby Brown,Whitney suffered family violence and because of him she began to be infected with drugs until she can hardly stop. In the most decadent period, she left herself alone wearing pajamas at home for 7 months to enjoy the pleasure drugs brought to her. In 2002, Whitney was discovered to have possessed drugs in her luggage, thus beginning years of struggle against drugs,during which she was also caught in the swirl of divorce issue,and went into endless troubles. However, in the interview, Whitney did not blame her ex-husband, and admit her mistakes with courage.
